This Labor Day Parade ribbon belonged to Robert H. Wilson who worked for them at the time, in Chicago. Click here for more items related to Chicago, Ill. Robert mailed the ribbon to his sweet heart Orpha 6 September 1904. He stated in the letter that each union member received one.
The ribbon is so delicate that it starts to crumble when shifted or touched at all. I is currently in a page protector next to the letter it was enclosed it, in a private collection.
