My Dearest Orpha i
Recieved Your letters
of Saturday & Sunday
and am sorry to
hear that you are
having so mutch
trouble with your
Eyes i was in
hopes that Glasses
would help your
Head aches they
may be better
now that you
have them chainged





Sweete heart i got
a letter from
Mr Berry this
Eavening he said
i would have to
apply in person
then he would
be glad to consider
my application
my preasent Boss
is a particuler friend
of his on that
account he would
not Imploy me
intill i had
Resigned my present
possition hear
i will hand in
my Resignation at




once to take affect
on the 20 that
will be Pay Day
and will Expect
to be in St Louis
on the Morning of
the 23 Sweete heart

how glad i will
be to get back to
You Dearest as i
can not be with
you on St Louis
Day at the Fair

at the Fair i
